300 on IMAX

I was really disappointed that I missed V for Vendetta on IMAX. It would have been one of those films that would have been perfect for the really big screen.

The next major epic from a comic book legend is going to be on IMAX, too. I'm going to have to plan missing 300, I guess, seeing that my wife is due with my son on the day before it opens. And somehow, I doubt I'll be making that 2 1/2 hour trip to Nashville when he's a month old. But I think I'll be okay with missing this one. (Of course, his name is Max - maybe it's a sign.)

Congrats on the addition to the family!!! Didn't know you were expecting.

Are you closer to Nashville than Atlanta? And isn't there an Imax theater in Montgomery? I wanted Batman Begins to be my first Imax, but didn't make it. Here's hoping I make it to The Dark Knight.

I'm only about 2 1/2 hours from Nashville, but about 5 from Atlanta and almost 4 from Montgomery (is Montgomery big enough to have an IMAX?).

I think there's one in Birmingham, but I'm about the same distance from Nashville and Birmingham. Where do you live? I couldn't find "The Batcave" on my map of Alabama :)

Oh, and thanks!! Yup, it'll be our second. We'll be stopping at a Bat-boy and a Bat-girl :)

Very nice! I only have the one, a soon-to-be 3 year old boy. The wife's been dropping hints that she wants another one, and of course I've been playing dumb, lol.

I live in Valley, AL, it's as central and east as you can possible get an not be in GA. It's about 15 minute drive to Auburn, and about an hour to Montgomery.
