Well, I didn't think Hellboy: Blood and Iron was quite as good as Hellboy: Sword of Storms, but I won't know for sure until I see the end because my stupid DVR cut it off. I nearly missed recording it (with my son being born and all), but I guess it didn't really matter.
I don't know if it's the Comcast DVR, Comcast itself, or the horrible guide the Comcast uses for it's recorder, but this is getting old. Can someone tell me - was the end worth it?
First Afro Samurai, now this...
*sigh*
Ah, well - just a good excuse to watch it again.

Of course I missed it entirely. I swear if it weren't for dvd's I'd never get to see anything.
Congrats on the addition to the family man! Hope everyone is well.
I enjoyed it better overall than Sword of Storms. It had no shortage of blood and gore. I think it will be on cable again eventually. Teen Titans: Trouble in Tokyo has been on at least 5 or 6 times.
Thank, Bones! Everything's going well. I think I can even get over being kept from 300 on Imax. :)
And, Chief, I'm going to keep watching for it on Cartoon Network. I was able to catch Trouble In Tokyo the first time around, so of course it gets a ton of repeats. And, BTW, I'm bookmarking your blog - it looks interesting. And I agree on Mystery Men - it just happens to be my favorite comic book movie.
thanks jim!
I double checked cartoon network, it doesn't look like Hellboy is listed for a whole at least. Stan Lee's Condor is on tonight, but I am afraid of how bad it may be. To think that Stan Lee created Spider-Man and the Fantastic Four, and now he is bringing us Striperella and El Condor. Oh how the mighty have fallen.
Aw, crap - I just missed another superhero movie! Thanks for the heads up, Chief! What channel was it on? Sci Fi? Guess I have to get it on DVD. Can't believe I missed it.
A cyborg skater? Wonder if it's as good as Lightspeed.
I see - it's animated. And according to Wikipedia, the script was written by Marv Wolfman.
Maybe it'll be the first quality item to be put out by POW!
Was it Cartoon Network, then?
It was on cartoon network. The main voice was Fez from That 70's show. I saw the first 15 minutes, and it was not very good, and the animation quality was terrible. It was definitly no Hellboy.
Condor was horrible! Stan's lost it, there's no othe way to say it.
Bones - you need a DVR. You catch all the crap and miss all the good stuff! Do you plan on seeing Painkiller Jane?
I do need a dvr, I know this. Hey, if you could convince my wife, maybe she'd let me get one. I've been trying for a while now, lol.
